hi evil weevil!! hmm, don’t think I’ve seen a plaster mould/cast version of the illusion before - do you have a picture?

It is freaky how easily our brain can be fooled! (though cool at times too)

hmm, saw a similar illusion with a plaster mould/cast thing… it was a block of some sort with patterns on it and (especially) when you have two of them next to each other in different orientations you can clearly see how freaky it is!

They just look like normal footprints in the sand… I’m weird, aren’t I… just like how the head (middle) and life (lower) lines on my hands are separated. D:

oh? as in you always see it normally like imprints, or is it popping out at you? maybe you have extra good sense of shadows though I must say, I can sometimes ‘push’ the shoe prints in without rotating the image.
