More about me:
Well, I guess I'll start off with the fact that I'm not an ABC (Australian Born Chinese), but instead I moved to Australia when I was quite young (approximately 2 years old). Having grown up in Australia many people mistaken me for being an ABC, and not many people know I speak mandarin - it's fun to see the surprise on people's faces and their reaction when I suddenly speak in chinese =P Currently, I'm at UNSW studying Business Information Technology (BIT) - which is a pretty good course overall (some subjects could do with improvement though!). The best part of the course in my opinion is that we get Indsutry Experience while studying, very different to work in the office, something that university can never teach! As my interests above probably already show, I'm quite interested in most pretty much anything related to computing, especially web development/design and programming/software. If I remember correctly, my first real passion for HTML started either in year 7, or believe it or not from Neopets! (I think the latter is more likely). After learning the basics of HTML to make a simple website for my guild I got 'hooked' to designing web pages and went exploring and discovered the wonders of CSS! So yeah, designed a few sites here and there - some for testing, others for friends, and couple for assignments - and of course my personal website. As for programming, I think I love it because I love problem solving - give me those problem solving/brain teaser puzzles anyday.
Some quotes/phrases I like:
» Copying from one is plagirism, copying from many is research.
» The earlier you fall behind, the more time you have to catch up.
» "Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former." Albert Einstein
